Job Title: Commercial HVAC Installer (Piping and Sheet Metal)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial HVAC Installer with expertise in piping and sheet metal installations for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including piping and sheet metal installations, in commercial buildings.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to determine the appropriate materials and methods for each installation project.
3. Work with various duct types, such as spiral, rectangle, and flex, ensuring proper installation and alignment.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
5. Perform site inspections, evaluate project requirements, and order necessary equipment and materials.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with HVAC systems, including electrical components and ventilation systems.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
8. Complete necessary documentation, such as work orders, project reports, and timesheets, in a timely and accurate manner.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance job performance and efficiency.
10. Train and mentor junior team members as needed, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or vocational training in HVAC systems preferred.
2. EPA certification and any other relevant industry certifications.
3. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, with a focus on piping and sheet metal installations.
4. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and troubleshooting.
5. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
6. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
8. Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10. Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments.
