Job Summary: As the Commercial HVAC Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our service department. This includes ensuring the efficient scheduling and dispatch of technicians, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and driving the growth of our service business. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a proven track record in the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and lead the service team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure top-notch performance and job satisfaction.

  2. Oversee and coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of service technicians to ensure timely and efficient response to customer needs.

  3. Monitor and evaluate service operations to ensure the highest level of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  4. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.

  5. Collaborate with sales and other departments to identify and pursue new business opportunities and service contracts.

  6. Implement and maintain safety and compliance standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.

  7. Monitor and control inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal availability and utilization.

  8. Prepare and analyze service department reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

  9. Develop and implement strategies for ongoing departmental growth, efficiency, and profitability.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on commercial service and maintenance.

  2. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within the HVAC service field.

  3. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry best practices.

  4. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  5. Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.

  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HVAC service management software.

  8. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Education:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

  2. HVAC trade school certification or equivalent technical training preferred.
