Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Commercial HVACR Service and Start-Up Technician to join our team in Long Beach, CA. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in commercial HVAC service, specializing in working on large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems. Local candidates with a stable work history and EPA Universal certification are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Service and Maintenance: Conduct routine service and maintenance tasks on commercial HVACR systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Start-Up Procedures: Execute start-up procedures for newly installed HVACR equipment, diagnosing and addressing issues as necessary.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests on HVACR systems to identify and rectify malfunctions and inefficiencies.
  • Repairs: Carry out repairs on components and systems, replacing faulty parts and ensuring the integrity of the entire HVACR system.
  • Large Equipment Expertise: Work on and troubleshoot large rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency service calls, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • EPA Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with EPA regulations, adhering to environmentally responsible practices in refrigerant handling.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including equipment status, repairs, and completed maintenance.

Qualifications:
  • Local Residency: Based in Long Beach, CA.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial HVACR service, with a focus on large systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in servicing and troubleshooting large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Stable Work History: Demonstrated stability in previous roles, indicating reliability and commitment.
  • EPA Universal Certification: Possession of EPA Universal certification for responsible refrigerant handling.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address HVACR issues.
  • Safety Conscious: Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines in all service and maintenance activities.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with clients and provide clear service reports.
