Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
Overview: We are seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives, ensuring a secure and health-conscious work environment across all project sites. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of project sites to identify safety hazards, ensuring compliance with safety standards and implementing corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents, maintain safety documentation, and manage industrial hygiene testing to uphold safe working conditions.
- Facilitate safety training sessions and manage the issuance of necessary permits for regulated areas.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal teams during safety walkthroughs and ensure the maintenance of emergency response and fire protection systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety/Health or related field, or equivalent experience (3-4 years) in construction safety.
- Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Ability to identify hazardous situations and recommend corrective measures.
- Proven experience in safety training and knowledge of current safety equipment and protocols.
