We are looking for a dynamic Mechanical Estimator/Sales professional to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in commercial mechanical construction, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal installations. This role demands expertise in estimating project costs and vital sales insight to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

Estimating: Accurately prepare cost estimates for mechanical construction projects, utilizing on-screen takeoff estimating software such as Trimble AutoBid or Fastest.
Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, presenting compelling value engineering solutions to potential clients.
Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure project estimates align with actual costs and timelines.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and insights during the sales process to ensure high-quality solutions meet client needs.
Client Relationship Management: Maintaining strong client relationships ensures satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of five years of commercial installation experience in plumbing, piping, or sheet metal on commercial buildings.
  • Estimating Experience: At least three years of experience in mechanical estimating, with proficiency in Trimble AutoBid or Fastest software.
  • Sales Skills: Proven sales and value engineering track record within the commercial mechanical construction industry.
