We are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced, and detail-oriented Plumbing-HVAC Project Manager to join our team.
Job Description: As a Commercial Plumbing-HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing large scale plumbing and HVAC projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within time and budget. You will work closely with various stakeholders, coordinate the efforts of team members, and manage relationships with contractors and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale commercial plumbing and HVAC projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans using GANTT chart scheduling software and provide updates on the project's progress.
- Use OST estimating software to estimate costs, prepare budgets, and analyze profitability.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with construction crews and other project personnel to ensure the project's successful completion.
- Utilize Bluebeam for project document management, collaboration, and coordination.
- Oversee and ensure the safety, quality, and productivity of construction operations.
- Solve problems that may arise during the project's life cycle, including technical issues, resource allocation, and human resources.
- Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Participate in project meetings and present regular updates to upper management.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial HVAC and Plumbing.
- Proven track record of managing large projects, with a project portfolio of $10 million+.
- Experience in managing hospital projects is a must.
- Proficiency in using OST Estimating and GANTT chart scheduling software.
- Experience with Bluebeam for project management.
- Strong understanding of local and national building codes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Must reside in the San Diego, CA area or willing to relocate.
