Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Orange, CA. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting our financial decision-making process. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and reconcile various general ledger accounts regularly.
- Prepare and post daily and monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage the fixed assets subledger, including recording, depreciating, and tracking company assets.
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they reflect the company’s financial status accurately.
- Participate in special projects as directed by the Finance Director or Controller.
- Analyze financial data to resolve discrepancies in the general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with the company's record retention policies.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of annual audits.
- Perform additional accounting duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is highly beneficial.
