Job Description:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in servicing various commercial HVAC systems and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs (Rooftop Units), split systems, VAVs (Variable Air Volume units), water source heat pumps, VRFs (Variable Refrigerant Flow systems), and other mechanical equipment.
- Maintenance and Installation: Perform routine maintenance, installation, and upgrade of HVAC systems to improve efficiency and reliability. Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and local codes.
- Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service, including clear communication about repairs, maintenance plans, and system recommendations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Ensure a safe working environment for self and others at all times.
- Technical Guidance: Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians. Stay updated with the latest advancements in HVAC technology and practices.
- Emergency Response: Be available for on-call emergency service as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
- EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in handling RTUs, split systems, VAVs, water source heat pumps, VRFs, and other mechanical HVAC equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform tasks in various environments and conditions.
- Must be local and stable work history.
