Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in servicing various commercial HVAC systems and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs (Rooftop Units), split systems, VAVs (Variable Air Volume units), water source heat pumps, VRFs (Variable Refrigerant Flow systems), and other mechanical equipment.
  2. Maintenance and Installation: Perform routine maintenance, installation, and upgrade of HVAC systems to improve efficiency and reliability. Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and local codes.
  3. Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service, including clear communication about repairs, maintenance plans, and system recommendations.
  4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Ensure a safe working environment for self and others at all times.
  5. Technical Guidance: Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians. Stay updated with the latest advancements in HVAC technology and practices.
  6. Emergency Response: Be available for on-call emergency service as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
  • EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.
  • Proven expertise in handling RTUs, split systems, VAVs, water source heat pumps, VRFs, and other mechanical HVAC equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks in various environments and conditions.
  • Must be local and stable work history.
