Overview: We're searching for a Senior Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager to lead our high-profile projects in Los Angeles, CA. This critical role requires an individual with more than 10 years of experience in the field, showcasing exceptional leadership in managing extensive commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of industry software like Bluebeam and Excel and be well-versed in navigating complex project requirements, including OSHPD and HCAI compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules and resource allocations, to ensure project success.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Utilize Bluebeam and Excel to manage project documentation, including blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
- Ensure strict adherence to local and state regulations, including OSHPD and HCAI requirements, throughout the project.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues and challenges, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and outcomes.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and project delivery.
- Manage project budgets, providing regular financial reporting to stakeholders and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements, applying best practices to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in project management within the commercial HVAC and plumbing industry, with a strong focus on large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and other relevant project management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Strong understanding of OSHPD, HCAI, and other relevant regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proven track record of leading successful projects and teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA, with a stable and verifiable professional history.
