Responsibilities:
Design & Development:
- Lead mechanical design projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Implement advanced mechanical solutions for large-scale projects including educational facilities, healthcare institutions, airports, and more.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee the technical development of designs.
Technical Proficiency & Innovation:
- Utilize Revit, BIM, and 3D modeling software to enhance design accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate sustainable design practices into every project.
Client Interaction:
- Act as the primary technical liaison with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Present complex mechanical systems in an understandable and engaging manner.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
- PE license required; additional certifications (e.g., LEED accreditation) are advantageous.
Experience:
- Proven track record in mechanical engineering with significant experience in major construction projects such as airports, hospitals, data centers, and high-rise buildings.
- Extensive experience with Revit and other relevant software.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of managing and directing project teams.
- Candidates should be local or willing to relocate to Honolulu with a stable work history.
