Job Description:

The Commercial Construction Site Safety Manager will oversee all aspects of our job-site safety programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a culture of safety across our operations, minimizing risks and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive job-site safety plans.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Lead safety training programs for all on-site employees.
  • Investigate job-site incidents and accidents, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies, such as OSHA, and ensure all site activities and processes comply with safety standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry safety trends and regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice on construction safety issues to project management and field personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management in a commercial construction environment.
  • Certifications including OSHA 500, CHST, CSP are required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage safety initiatives and programs on large-scale construction projects.
  • Local to Orange County with a stable work history.
