Key Requirements
- Must be a local resident or have the ability to easily and permanently relocate to Oahu, HI.
- BSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering) or related field.
- 8-15 years of commercial project management experience.
- Strong preference for prior engineering, preconstruction, and estimating experience.
- Must have experience managing large hospital and federal projects.
- Proficient in construction software like Bluebeam, scheduling and estimating tools.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion.
- Manage all project resources, including budgets, schedules, and staff.
- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Act as the main point of contact with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
- Apply project management methodologies and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.
- Review and interpret blueprints and project plans.
- Estimate project costs and timelines accurately.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Report regularly on project status, progress, and forecasts to senior management.
