We are currently seeking a highly experienced Sr. Commercial HVAC Start-Up and Service Technician to join our team.

Position Summary

The Sr. Commercial HVAC Start-Up and Service Technician is responsible for the successful start-up and ongoing service and maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment, including large Rooftop Units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems. The role demands a high level of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work on complex commercial systems.

Location

Orange County, CA. Local candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform start-up, troubleshooting, service, and maintenance on large commercial HVAC equipment, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Coordinate with the project management team for smooth execution of projects.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to customers during the pre-sales, installation, and post-sales processes.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all installation, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and start-up.
  • Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with large commercial RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Must hold a valid EPA Universal Certification.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • A stable work history is a must.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
