Superintendent/Project Manager [Commercial/Restaurant Construction]

Overview

Supervise and manage commercial restaurant construction projects' scope. Oversee multiple foremen, installers, and subcontractors when needed on one or multiple medium and large commercial/refrigeration construction projects ensuring local, state, and federal building, safety, and QC requirements.                                                                  

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple aspects of commercial restaurant ground-up, installation, TI, and retrofits. They will vary in size and scope from 100k to 1 million+.
Balance time between the office and one or multiple job site(s) as needed. Attend meetings (kick-off, preconstruction, coordination, BIM, QC, safety, planning, commissioning, etc.) from inception to completion.
Work with internal (management, estimating, preconstruction, fabrication, design, detailing, installation, safety, QC, legal, purchasing) stakeholders and external (general contractors, building owners, other subcontractors [such as controls and insulation]), suppliers, distributors, and other business partners/vendors.
Assist with surveying, planning and design, value engineering, purchasing, fabrication, equipment and material deliveries, equipment buyouts, coordination with Field Foreman and Superintendents, preparing conceptual and detailed bid documents, cost estimates, scheduling (Gantt charts and project timelines), submitting change orders and RFIs, review additional construction documents, forecasting, document control, POs, track labor and materials, budgeting (creating, managing, and maintaining), and close-out documentation tasks.

Requirements

Six or more years of experience in construction (including installation, estimating, and project management).
Knowledge in commercial/restaurant construction, verbal and written communication, always being on time and being a reliable team member.
Familiar with federal, state, and local building and OSHA safety requirements.
Local and stable work history.

Nice to Have

Bachelors in Construction Management
LEED AP Certification
Construction software experience: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, Glue, MS Project, BlueBeam, Primavera, Timberline, Procore, Prolog, among other similar applications.
Familiarity with construction accounting.
