Position Overview:

The Commercial Plumbing and HVAC Assistant Project Manager will be instrumental in bolstering the Project Manager's efforts, overseeing medium to expansive commercial mechanical ventures and guaranteeing their on-time delivery within scope and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in fully managing medium to large-scale HVAC and plumbing projects from the initial estimation phase to completion.
  • Employ estimating and scheduling software tools, ensuring projects are forecasted accurately and realized on schedule.
  • Foster effective communication channels between internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Engage actively in project meetings, presenting updates and aligning all entities with the project's objectives.
  • Champion adherence to safety standards and other regulatory benchmarks specific to HVAC and plumbing.
  • Serve as the primary contact for site-specific issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal project disturbance.
  • Assist in meticulously maintaining project documentation, capturing every vital detail, alteration, and progress update.
  • Keep a keen eye on project financials, ensuring prudent cost management and profitability.


  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of enriched experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC project management.
  • Have a stable work history.
  • Proficiency in leveraging estimating and scheduling software.
  • Adeptness with Bluebeam and other industry-relevant software utilities.
  • Stellar communication abilities, both written and verbal.
