Position Overview:

As a BAS Controls Technician, you will be crucial in designing, installing, and optimizing building automation systems to ensure the highest performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Maintenance: Implement, calibrate, and maintain various building automation systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Point-to-Point Testing: Conduct thorough tests on all devices and systems, ensuring accurate and efficient functionality.
  • Programming & Integration: Leverage your expertise to program, integrate, and commission a range of automation controls in diverse settings.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Quickly and efficiently diagnose issues, performing necessary repairs to minimize system downtimes.
  • Client Consultation: Engage directly with clients to provide expert advice, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate this knowledge into on-the-job applications.

Qualifications:

  • Residency in the Orange County area.
  • Demonstrable stable work history, highlighting dedication and longevity.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in building automation controls, encompassing installation, service, point-to-point testing, and programming.
  • Tridium Niagara N4 certification is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional technical acumen related to mechanical and electrical systems within building automation.
  • Adeptness at reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills complemented by keen attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both in written and spoken forms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team framework.
  • Valid driver's license.
