Job Description:
We seek a dynamic and experienced Building Automation Controls Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting our range of building automation solutions in the San Diego area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the building automation sector within San Diego.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
- Understand customer needs and propose customized automation solutions.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and competitive products.
- Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in local trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in building automation or related industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and building management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
