Position Summary
The Building Automation Controls Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and completing BAS projects in various commercial settings. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of building automation control systems and exceptional project management skills.
Location
Seattle, WA. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage BAS projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Utilize your technical expertise to oversee the implementation of building automation control systems for commercial HVAC equipment.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Liaise with clients, providing them with regular project updates and excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate project documentation for internal tracking and client reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Familiarity with building automation control systems for commercial HVAC equipment.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication and organizational skills.
