Job Title: Building Automation Programmer

Location: Spokane, Washington

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Programmer to join our growing team in Spokane, Washington. We are a leading provider of building automation solutions for commercial and industrial facilities. Our mission is to provide innovative, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solutions for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation programming, with experience in Tridium Niagara, ALC, Alerton, Distech Graphics, and BACnet systems. The candidate should have a local and stable work history and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, program, and commission building automation systems, primarily using Tridium Niagara, ALC, Alerton, Distech Graphics, and BACnet protocols.
  2. Develop custom graphics and user interfaces for various building automation systems.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing systems.
  5. Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all projects.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and developments, ensuring that our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.

Requirements:

  1. 4-12 years of experience in building automation programming, specifically with Tridium Niagara, ALC, Alerton, Distech Graphics, and BACnet systems.
  2. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and energy management concepts.
  3. Proficient in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  6. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Experience with other building automation platforms, such as Siemens, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls.
  3. Relevant industry certifications, such as the Niagara AX or N4 Certification.
