Building Automation Controls Estimator

Responsibilities

Build accurate estimates of labor and material takeoffs for building automation controls projects and service contracts

Read and interpret plans and spec requirements for upcoming projects

Assist technicians and project managers with quotes
Requirements
-
3 to 12 years of Building Automation Controls Estimating experience working for a commercial building automation controls construction company
-
Local and stable work-history
Preferred
-
Prior building automation controls experience working hands-on in installation and service, start up and commissioning, programming, estimating, design-engineering, and/or project management
-
HVAC or Electrical Associates Degree

Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and EIT and/or PE License
-
Building Controls knowledge of systems such as Tridium, Siemens, Honeywell,, Alerton, Automated Logic/ALC, Delta, Siemens, and Distech among others

Experience working with MS Excel, AutoCAD, Visio, BlueBeam, and MS Project

Prior building automation controls experience working hands-on in installation and service, start up and commissioning, programming, estimating, design-engineering, and/or project management
