Overview: This role focuses on the programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of building automation and temperature control systems, requiring a candidate with strong technical skills and an ability to ensure optimal operation of these systems.
Responsibilities:
Program, commission, and diagnose issues within building automation systems.
Develop and adjust system graphics as necessary for effective automation control.
Conduct system start-up and commissioning, ensuring thorough documentation of processes.
Collaborate with mechanical and test & balance teams to ensure system integrity.
Install control systems and work with subcontractors to ensure adherence to installation standards.
Utilize various communication protocols to integrate and manage building systems effectively.
Prepare detailed project reports and manage project timelines and budgets efficiently.
Requirements:
Technical or vocational training in a relevant field, or equivalent industry-specific experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation systems.
Proficiency in software applications such as Windows, Word, Excel, Visio, and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical systems, including code compliance.
Prior experience with Distech and Tridium systems.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
