Job Summary:

Seeking a Building Systems Integration Engineer to become an integral part of our innovative team in Seattle, WA. This position is focused on the integration of sophisticated building systems, including HVAC, lighting, security, and other automated systems into cohesive, efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in engineering principles, system integration, programming, and a commitment to delivering advanced building solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the integration process of complex building systems to meet project specifications and objectives.
  • Develop and implement programming for integrated systems using industry-standard languages and tools, ensuring compatibility and functionality across systems.
  • Oversee the on-site implementation and commissioning of integrated systems, ensuring they operate cohesively and efficiently.
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation of all systems post-integration to verify performance and adherence to all project requirements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues arising during and after the integration process, providing expert solutions and adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the integrated systems.
  • Generate and maintain detailed documentation of system designs, programming codes, and troubleshooting guidelines for each project.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients and team members on the operation and maintenance of newly integrated systems.

Qualifications:
 
  • Residency in Seattle, WA, or willingness to relocate.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in building systems integration, with a strong emphasis on HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in programming for building automation and control systems.
  • Proven ability in the field implementation and commissioning of integrated building systems.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
  • Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to address integration challenges creatively and effectively.
  • Commitment to producing detailed, accurate project documentation.
