Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a wealth of experience in the commercial mechanical construction industry to join our executive team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and managing diverse teams within a growing organization. This individual should also have a stable, local work history and demonstrated career progression, including a minimum of 5 years of experience as a COO.
Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership in the development and implementation of comprehensive operational strategies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business goals.

Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Develop and monitor performance metrics to maximize efficiency and productivity across all departments.

Coordinate with the CEO and CFO to set budgets, forecast financial outcomes, and make informed business decisions.

Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the organization, leading and mentoring a high-performing management team.

Build and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the community to strengthen our company's position in the local market.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 17 years of experience in the commercial mechanical construction industry.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a COO role or similar senior-level management position.

Proven track record of effectively leading scaling growth and operational efficiency in an organization.

Excellent decision-making skills with a proven ability to make timely and informed decisions.

Strong understanding of complex business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.

In-depth knowledge of industry legal rules and guidelines, market tools, and best practices.

Strong communication, public speaking, and leadership skills.

Master's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Local to Phoenix, AZ, or willing to relocate.
