Safety is paramount, and we seek an experienced Commercial Construction Site Safety Officer to ensure every project is executed safely.

Role and Responsibilities:

Site Evaluation: Conduct daily site inspections to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
Safety Training: Conduct safety orientations, tool-box talks, and other safety-related training sessions for new and existing employees.
Incident Investigation: In the event of an incident, lead investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
Safety Protocols: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve safety protocols and procedures in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all safety activities, inspections, and incidents.
Emergency Response: Coordinate and lead emergency response drills and real-time emergencies, ensuring swift action and minimized risk.
Collaboration: Work closely with site managers, supervisors, and workers to foster a culture of safety.
Continual Learning: Stay updated on the latest safety regulations, trends, and best practices.


Must be local to San Diego, CA.
A stable work history, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
2+ years of commercial construction site safety experience.
OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
Proven track record of reducing incidents and promoting a safe work environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams.
