We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HVAC systems, proven experience in large commercial HVAC projects, and proficiency in QuickPen Trimble AutoBid.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare detailed estimates for large-scale commercial HVAC projects.
  2. Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  3. Use QuickPen Trimble AutoBid software for estimating and takeoff processes.
  4. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local codes and regulations.
  5. Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to understand project scope and requirements.
  6. Perform risk analysis for tenders and contracts.
  7. Prepare and submit financial documents.
  8. Maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate the estimating process.
  9. Update and maintain a database of standard costing and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Estimator, with a focus on large commercial projects.
  2. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, operations, and industry best practices.
  3. Proficient with QuickPen Trimble AutoBid software.
  4. Excellent understanding of local codes and regulations.
  5. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  6. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  9. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
