Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Installer to join our team. This role involves the installation of HVAC systems in commercial settings, ensuring that all installations are completed accurately and safely, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Install various types of commercial HVAC systems, including ventilation and air conditioning units, adhering to design specifications and ensuring they operate effectively.
- Interpret blueprints and project plans to understand and implement installation requirements.
- Ensure installations are compliant with local, state, and federal codes.
- Test HVAC systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members and provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and components as needed.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development in HVAC-related fields.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC installer, preferably in a commercial setting.
- HVAC certification from a recognized institution.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type 2 or Universal).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Comprehensive understanding of the principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and mechanical plans.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
