Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of installing HVAC systems in commercial settings. They will have hands-on experience with various mechanical equipment including RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems in commercial settings including RTUs, splits, chillers, boilers, VRFs, and other commercial mechanical equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to understand project requirements.
- Work with the project team to ensure installations are carried out on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with other trades on-site to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during installation.
- Attend ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC installation techniques and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must be local to San Diego, CA.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC installation is required.
- Proven experience installing various types of HVAC systems including RTUs, splits, chillers, boilers, VRFs, etc.
- Stable work history.
- Excellent understanding of HVAC systems and their installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and plans.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
