Job Summary: As the Commercial HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our commercial HVAC projects from initial estimation and design to final installation and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a proven track record in the HVAC industry.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire lifecycle of commercial HVAC projects, including estimation, design, installation, and commissioning.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and other departments to ensure a seamless transition from project conception to completion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to ensure project success.
Ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with company standards, industry best practices, and applicable codes and regulations.
Manage project resources, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure timely delivery and high-quality workmanship.
Prepare and present project status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within project execution.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the HVAC field.
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
HVAC trade school certification or equivalent technical training is a plus.
