Position Overview: As a Commercial HVAC Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the San Diego area, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our range of HVAC equipment and services. You will leverage your technical expertise to provide clients with tailored solutions that meet their unique needs and requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, including mechanical contractors, engineers, and building owners.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial HVAC market, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  3. Conduct technical sales presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating the features and benefits of our HVAC equipment and services.
  4. Collaborate with clients to assess their needs, provide expert recommendations on equipment selection, and offer support on system design and installation.
  5. Prepare accurate and timely sales proposals, contracts, and quotations to meet client requirements and secure new business.
  6. Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and customer service, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery of HVAC equipment.
  7. Provide technical support to clients as needed, troubleshooting issues and offering expert advice on HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance.
  8. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the company and expand your professional network.
  9. Continuously expand your knowledge of the HVAC industry and our product offerings through ongoing training and education.
  10. Meet and exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC equipment sales, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and applications.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other sales tools.
  6. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  7. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, sales calls, and industry events.
