Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and local Commercial HVAC Service and Start-Up Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service, with a focus on servicing large rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, variable refrigerant flow systems (VRFs), a stable work history, and an EPA Universal certification.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair on a variety of commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- Conduct start-up and commissioning procedures to ensure the optimal performance of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute service and maintenance schedules.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards for all service and repair activities.
- Maintain accurate records of service work and parts used.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Qualifications:
- A local resident of San Diego, CA.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service, with a focus on RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- A stable work history with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- EPA Universal certification.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
