Location: Vancouver, WA

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial HVAC Service and Start-Up Technician to join our team in Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate should be a local resident with a stable work history, possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service, and have expertise in working on large rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, variable refrigerant flow systems (VRFs), and other commercial HVAC equipment. EPA Universal certification is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and service on various commercial HVAC systems, including large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and resolve complex issues with HVAC equipment efficiently.
  • Participate in the start-up procedures for newly installed HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific HVAC needs and provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during service and maintenance activities.
  • Document all service activities, including maintenance, repairs, and start-ups, for accurate record-keeping.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Local residency in Vancouver, WA.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service.
  • Expertise in servicing large RTUs, chillers, boilers, VRFs, and other commercial HVAC equipment.
  • EPA Universal certification.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Stable work history with a proven track record of reliability.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting HVAC schematics and technical manuals.
