Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial HVAC Service Director to lead our HVAC service division in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in operations, with a focus on overseeing service, projects, field, and office staff. This role requires a proven track record in a leadership role, demonstrating expertise in managing a mechanical company's service division.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the commercial HVAC service division, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations of the service division, including service technicians, projects, field operations, and office staff.
  • P&L Management: Manage and analyze the profit and loss (P&L) for the service division, making data-driven decisions to enhance profitability.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop service, project, and support teams to achieve optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance standards to meet or exceed industry and company standards.
  • Financial Performance: Drive financial performance by implementing cost-effective measures and maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all service division operations.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry, with a focus on service operations.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in a leadership role overseeing a mechanical company's service division.
  • P&L Experience: 5+ years of P&L and profitability management experience.
  • Operations Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and experience in operations, including service, projects, and field operations.
  • Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Stability: Demonstrated stability in employment history.
  • Local Candidates: Must be based in Phoenix, AZ, or willing to relocate.
