Job Overview: The Commercial HVAC Service Manager holds a critical position, ensuring the optimal functioning of our HVAC services division. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in large HVAC equipment services, combined with a strong managerial background. This role demands an in-depth understanding of the complexities and nuances of commercial HVAC systems, particularly large-scale equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Service Oversight & Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the HVAC service division.
- Ensure timely and efficient servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.

Technical Expertise:
- Provide hands-on expertise in servicing large HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to service technicians.

Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of HVAC technicians.
- Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning.

Customer Relationship Management:
- Engage with clients to understand their service needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Address and resolve any service-related issues or concerns promptly.

Estimation & Financial Management:
- (If involved in estimation) Use experience to provide accurate service estimates to clients.
- Monitor and manage service-related expenses, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Must be a local resident of Wilmington, NC.
- Demonstrable stable work history.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC service management experience.
- Over 10 years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience, with a specialization in large equipment such as chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- Estimating experience in HVAC services is beneficial.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and ensure client satisfaction.
