Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Orange County, CA. This role requires hands-on expertise with large rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, variable air volume (VAV) systems, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, chillers, and boilers. The ideal candidate will possess an EPA certification and have a clean driving record.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform service and repair of HVAC systems, specifically large RTUs, split systems, VAVs, VRFs, chillers, and boilers in commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues, providing efficient, effective solutions.
- Review, interpret, and execute work according to system blueprints and specifications.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to reduce the likelihood of systems failures and increase system longevity.
- Ensure all work performed adheres to state and local regulations and is in line with safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining issues, solutions, and providing maintenance tips.
- Keep detailed records of all work done, including hours worked, tasks performed, and parts used.
- Maintain cleanliness and care of company vehicle and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be local to Orange County, CA.
- Valid EPA certification.
- Clean driving record is a must.
- Proven experience in servicing and repairing HVAC systems including large RTUs, split systems, VAVs, VRFs, chillers, and boilers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to safely lift heavy equipment and parts.
