Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair large commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and performance data to determine HVAC system requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to provide seamless service and communication with clients.
- Educate clients on system maintenance, troubleshooting basics, and energy-saving best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in HVAC service and repair.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on the job.
- Complete job documentation, including service reports, timesheets, and expense reports, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide on-call emergency service as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in large commercial HVAC service and repair.
- Must possess an EPA Universal Certification.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, tools, and best practices.
- Ability to interpret technical data, blueprints, and schematics.
- Demonstrated record of stable work history.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Local to San Diego or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a lead technician role.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
