Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Service and Start-Up Technician to join our team in beautiful San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be a local professional with a strong background in commercial HVAC service, boasting 5 or more years of hands-on experience in servicing large Rooftop Units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems. A stable work history and possession of an EPA Universal certification are required for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and service on a variety of commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRFs.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Execute system start-up and commissioning activities to ensure reliable operation.
- Collaborate with clients to address their HVAC needs and provide expert solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records and document all work performed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service, including working with large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration principles.
- A stable and proven work history in the HVAC field.
- Possession of an EPA Universal certification is mandatory.
