Job Description:
The Commercial HVAC/Plumbing/Controls Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, screening, and recruiting top-tier talent within the commercial mechanical industry. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the HVAC, plumbing, and control systems industries and will use this knowledge to find the best candidates for our various roles.
Responsibilities:
Identify and recruit qualified candidates for positions in our commercial HVAC, plumbing, and controls divisions.
Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, and recommend top candidates to hiring managers.
Develop and maintain relationships with various local trade schools, technical colleges, and industry organizations to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
Utilize various sourcing strategies, including online job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and job fairs.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial mechanical industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitors.
Ensure the recruiting process aligns with our company values, promoting diversity and inclusion.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the HVAC, Plumbing, or Control systems industries.
Proven track record of successful placements in the commercial mechanical industry.
Deep understanding of the commercial mechanical industry and the skills needed for various roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using recruitment software and social media platforms.
Must be local to Orange County with a stable work history.
A degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not necessary.
