The Commercial HVAC/Plumbing/Controls Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, screening, and recruiting top-tier talent within the commercial mechanical industry. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the HVAC, plumbing, and control systems industries and will use this knowledge to find the best candidates for our various roles.
- Identify and recruit qualified candidates for positions in our commercial HVAC, plumbing, and controls divisions.
- Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, and recommend top candidates to hiring managers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with various local trade schools, technical colleges, and industry organizations to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Utilize various sourcing strategies, including online job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and job fairs.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial mechanical industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitors.
- Ensure the recruiting process aligns with our company values, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the HVAC, Plumbing, or Control systems industries.
- Proven track record of successful placements in the commercial mechanical industry.
- Deep understanding of the commercial mechanical industry and the skills needed for various roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and social media platforms.
- Must be local to Orange County with a stable work history.
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not necessary.
