We are currently seeking a motivated, hardworking, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Apprentice.

Job Summary: As a Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Apprentice, you will be working closely with experienced technicians, learning the ins and outs of the industry while gaining hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation, maintenance, and repair. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks, including measuring, cutting, and bending sheet metal, installing ductwork, and maintaining HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems and equipment

  • Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal according to project specifications

  • Install and assemble ductwork, using proper tools and techniques

  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment

  • Learn and apply industry best practices, codes, and regulations

  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

  • Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to expand knowledge and skills

  • Communicate professionally with customers, providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC and sheet metal fabrication

  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the industry

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

  • Willingness to follow instructions and learn from experienced technicians

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform tasks that require manual dexterity

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or education in HVAC, sheet metal, or a related field

  • EPA Section 608 certification or willingness to obtain

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification
