We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installer to join our team in Dallas, TX. This vital role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and the fabrication and installation of sheet metal ductwork in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with HVAC systems, including large rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, as well as proficiency in sheet metal work. Responsibilities:
  • Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on various commercial HVAC systems, ensuring they meet operational efficiency and specification compliance.
  • Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal ductwork and other related structures, utilizing your expertise in sheet metal work.
  • Specialize in handling sophisticated systems such as large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF units, employing best practices and safety protocols.
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting to accurately identify and rectify issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget constraints.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, and manage the inventory of parts and supplies needed for installation and repair tasks.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining clear and effective communication to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Must be local to Dallas, TX, or willing to relocate to the area.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation, with specific expertise in working on large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret system blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair manuals.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, refrigerant handling, and electrical/mechanical components of HVAC systems, along with sheet metal fabrication techniques.
  • A stable work history in the commercial HVAC and sheet metal industry, reflecting reliability and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • A steadfast commitment to adhering to all health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
