We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sheet Metal Production Worker to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for individuals with a stable work history and a minimum of three years of experience in sheet metal fabrication. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working on various projects related to sheet metal production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
- Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and templates and apply knowledge in sheet metal fabrication tasks.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to measure, cut, bend, and manipulate sheet metal.
- Inspect product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Must be a local resident of Phoenix, AZ or willing to relocate.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Proven stability in work history.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
- Physical ability to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Experience with specific brands of fabrication machinery.
