Job Title: Commercial HVACR Technician
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVACR Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring the optimal operation of HVAC and refrigeration systems through precise startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining system efficiency and customer satisfaction without the need for specific location or company details.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough startups of new HVACR equipment.
- Engage in testing and balance activities, alongside final system commissioning to guarantee system performance according to engineering specifications.
- Efficiently troubleshoot and tune systems, addressing any discrepancies from the design documents.
- Accurately document startup and service activities on applicable digital platforms.
- Diagnose, repair, or replace malfunctioning equipment or components.
- Program and configure Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and protocols to ensure personal and team safety.
Requirements:
- Completed 4+ years of apprenticeship in HVACR or equivalent experience.
- Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with HVACR systems, including testing, balancing, and commissioning.
- 2+ years of experience in starting up, troubleshooting, and tuning commercial HVACR systems.
- Experience with Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and programming VFDs.
- Local and stable work history, or willing to relocate.
