Job Description: Commercial Piping Detailer

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and finalize detailed piping designs and specifications tailored to commercial projects.
- Utilize Autodesk Fabrication and Revit for designing and editing piping layouts, schematics, and details.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure an integrated approach to piping solutions within larger building systems.
- Review and interpret project specifications, ensuring all designs comply with local codes and standards.
- Conduct on-site evaluations to verify installations adhere to design specifications.
- Engage in proactive communication with project managers, contractors, and internal teams regarding design modifications and updates.
- Stay informed about advances in commercial piping design, technology, and CAD software to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to the allocated budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must reside in or around Orange County, CA.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in commercial plumbing installation.
- A minimum of 2 years practical experience with Autodesk Fabrication and Revit.
- In-depth understanding of piping systems, materials, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in local building codes and regulations related to piping.
- A consistent and stable work history speaks to your reliability and dedication.
- Superior communication abilities, both in writing and verbally.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or specialized training in Autodesk Fabrication and Revit.
- Affiliation with professional associations relevant to piping or CAD design.
- Exposure to eco-friendly or sustainable piping solutions.
