Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed Commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations are performed to code and meet the high standards our clients rely on.

Responsibilities:

Read blueprints and building specifications to map layouts for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures before installation.
Assemble fittings and valves for installation.
Modify the length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building.
Use saws and pipe cutters as necessary.
Install heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters.
Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
Analyze the problem and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair.
Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes.
Write a report documenting the problem and a summary of actions taken.
Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts.
Prepare bids and schedule and oversee other workers, such as apprentices and helpers.

Requirements:

Valid plumbing license in the state of Florida.
Proven experience as a commercial plumber.
Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances.
Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly with a great deal of patience.
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship.
Valid driver's license.
