We're currently looking for a talented Commercial Plumbing Detailer with a strong background in hands-on commercial plumbing and computer-aided design using Autodesk Fabrication and Revit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed plumbing plans and specifications for commercial projects.
- Utilize Autodesk Fabrication and Revit for the creation and modification of design drafts.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure plumbing designs are integrated seamlessly with other building systems.
- Review and analyze project specifications, ensuring designs adhere to local codes and standards.
- Provide on-site evaluations, ensuring the installation aligns with the design specifics.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and team members about potential design modifications and updates.
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in commercial plumbing and CAD software to ensure optimal design efficiency.
- Ensure project timelines are met, and that work is completed within the designated budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be based locally in Orange County, CA.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in commercial plumbing installation.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Fabrication and Revit.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and best practices.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations about plumbing.
- A stable work history, indicating reliability and dedication.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or formal training in Autodesk Fabrication and Revit.
- Membership or affiliations with relevant professional associations.
- Experience with green or sustainable plumbing solutions.
