About the Role:
We seek an experienced Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our dynamic team in Orange County, CA. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in commercial plumbing estimating and a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate plumbing costs for large commercial projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other related expenses.
- Utilize Trimble Autobid software proficiently for efficient and precise estimating.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid proposals.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve potential issues in the initial stages.
- Stay abreast of market conditions, construction trends, and supply chain fluctuations.
- Ensure all project estimations comply with Title 24, OSHPD, and HCAI requirements.
- Participate in bid analysis and contract negotiations.
- Provide recommendations for cost-saving strategies and value engineering.
- Maintain a detailed database of past projects and current bids.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating.
- Strong familiarity with Trimble Autobid software.
- Extensive experience in estimating for large commercial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Title 24, OSHPD, and HCAI regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
