Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager to join our expanding team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is designed for a local professional who brings a stable work history along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Construction Management. With at least 5 years of direct experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management, the ideal candidate will also exhibit proficiency in BlueBeam, MS Project, Procore, and have a demonstrated history of managing sizable commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from concept through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Leverage technical expertise in plumbing and HVAC systems to provide accurate project estimates and design proposals.
- Utilize project management software tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore to track project progress and manage resources.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects align with their expectations.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and field personnel, fostering teamwork to meet project goals.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurately prepared and maintained, including bids, contracts, and schedules.
- Adhere to all local building codes, regulations, and ensure all projects meet safety standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve any project issues or delays, applying problem-solving skills to mitigate impacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management role within the commercial plumbing and HVAC industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using project management software such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
- Experience with managing large-scale commercial projects is essential.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are critical for success in this role.
- Must be a Phoenix, AZ local or willing to relocate, with a proven and stable work history in the field.
