Job Title: Commercial Plumbing/Piping Superintendent

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Commercial Plumbing/Pipefitting Superintendent with a proven track record of success in overseeing complex commercial and industrial plumbing and pipefitting projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and pipefitting, including a minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent role.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage all commercial plumbing and pipefitting projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Management: Oversee and coordinate a team of skilled plumbers, pipefitters, and subcontractors, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure project success.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and standards, ensuring that all work complies with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications.
- Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs by minimizing waste and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation: To support project documentation requirements, keep accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless execution.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project challenges and issues promptly, proactively addressing any obstacles.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of commercial plumbing and pipefitting experience.
- At least five years of experience in a Superintendent role, overseeing large commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and pipefitting codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid plumbing and pipefitting licenses/certifications preferred.
- Local candidates with a stable work history in Jacksonville, FL, are preferred.
