Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Refrigeration Installer to join our team in Astoria, OR. This crucial role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems used in a variety of settings, including supermarkets, food service facilities, and cold storage warehouses. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of refrigeration technology and a proven track record of working on complex refrigeration units such as large RTUs, chillers, and VRFs. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet all operational requirements.
- Work on large refrigeration units, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems, following industry standards and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other installation team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including inventory management of parts and supplies.

Requirements:
- Must be local to Astoria, OR, or willing to relocate.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration installation, specifically with experience working on large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret system blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair manuals.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, understanding of refrigerant handling, and experience with electrical and mechanical components of refrigeration systems.
