Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various refrigeration systems and temperature-controlled units.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in refrigeration racks or single-unit systems, including leak repairs, component replacements, and system installations.
- Fabricate and install required supports and piping in compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately conduct repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Manage and document service tickets and project details efficiently, ensuring clear and prompt communication.
- Keep a service vehicle in excellent condition, stocked and adhering to all maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through superior service and clear technical communication.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 5 years of relevant field experience or 3 years with a Technical School Certification in HVAC-R.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of electrical schematics and basic electrical principles.
- Proficient in handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials safely.
Preferred:
- HVAC-R Technical School Degree.
- Experience with specific brands and models of refrigeration systems is desirable.
