Job Description:

We seek a dedicated Controls Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Yakima, WA. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of building automation projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in all phases of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of building automation control projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing building automation control projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design and implement control systems using AutoCAD.
  • Oversee building automation systems' installation, service, startup, and programming.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and that the systems comply with industry regulations.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation and reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building automation controls project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of building automation systems.
  • Experience in installing, servicing, startup, and programming building automation projects, specifically in commercial buildings such as hospitals, schools, airports, universities, and labs.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Certifications in Tridium, Niagara, N4, or related building automation systems.
